Responsibility

It seems that it’s easier to have others take charge over one’s choices. In a way, it feels as if it takes the burden away from feeling guilty if something wrong happens. One holds them responsible.

However, having the power over one’s life makes us responsible for it and, hence, more conscious and aware of the consequences over one’s actions. It’s being response-able. Not blaming either ourselves nor others.

Today, for instance, my creativity to write feels blocked for “no reason”. It’s part of the process and of what I learn through this journey. There’s a song in Spanish that says “La Musa no pacta”, which means the muse doesn’t accord. I feel I need to relax and let the ideas flow more smoothly.
